The Watch 6 and Watch GT 7 series are Huawei’s mainstream smartwatches, but the brand also introduced the latest addition to its health-focused Watch D series with the Watch D3. It brings medical-grade blood pressure monitoring, an updated design with а larger and brighter display.
Alongside its new wrist wearables, Huawei also announced a new pair of wireless earbuds dubbed FreeBuds Neo.

On the outside, Watch D3 looks a lot like its predecessor, though Huawei managed to slim the aluminum chassis down to 11.3 mm while keeping the weight at 40 grams.

Watch D3 gets a slightly larger 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED with 480 x 408px resolution and 3,000 nits peak brightness, which is a welcome improvement over the D2’s 1,500 nits peak. The watch strap features an airbag (1mm narrower) that expands to measure your blood pressure at the wrist.
Like its predecessor, Watch D3 is still capable of 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) with a trend-based reporting feature. Huawei is also boasting quieter operation for night-time blood pressure measurements.
Watch D3 can also track your heart rate trends, including pre-and post-exercise blood pressure measurements, which is new. Huawei’s Health Glance feature is also onboard like before, and it should offer a holistic health report that covers 11 key indicators in 60 seconds, including heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation.
Elsewhere, Watch D3 gets updated Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity as well as a slightly larger 540mAh battery, which should be good for up to 6 days of regular use.

Huawei Watch D3 is priced at £399.99 and will be available from September 23.
FreeBuds Neo
The FreeBuds Neo are the latest addition to Huawei’s wireless earbuds range. They bring dual-channel noise cancellation, which is rated at up to 30 dB, alongside adaptive algorithms that can adjust ANC based on your surroundings in a matter of milliseconds.

Huawei’s third-generation audio chip offers 2.3 Mbps high-resolution lossless transmission and a maximum transmission bitrate of 990 kbps. You also get spatial audio support and seamless support with Android, iOS, and Windows devices, including dual-device pairing.

Huawei FreeBuds Neo come in Stellar Silver, Nebula Pink, Ice White, and Starry Black colors. Retail is set at £119.99, and official sales start on September 23. Orders placed until October 26 get £20 off.
