Infosys dividend history: How IT major has rewarded shareholders in last 5 years


Infosys, India’s second-largest IT services firm, has recommended a final dividend of Rs 25 per equity share for FY26. The announcement was made along with the company’s Q4 results on Thursday. The record date for the dividend is June 10 with payout to be completed on June 25.

The IT giant has a consistent track record of rewarding shareholders. It paid an interim dividend of Rs 23 on October 27, 2025. Earlier, it had announced a final dividend of Rs 22 on May 30, 2025.

In 2024, the company’s first payout was a final dividend of Rs 20 per share, which included a special dividend of Rs 8, Trendlyne data showed. The IT company declared another interim dividend of Rs 21 on October 29. In 2023, the company paid a final dividend of Rs 17.50 per share, followed by an interim dividend of Rs 18 per share. In 2022, it announced a final dividend of Rs 16 and an interim dividend of Rs 16.50 per share on October 27.

In 2021, the year after the Covid-19 outbreak, Infosys declared a final dividend of Rs 15 per share on May 31 and an interim dividend of Rs 15 per share on October 26, Trendlyne data showed.

Infosys Q4 Results

The company reported a 21% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, to Rs 8,501 crore, compared with Rs 7,033 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations came in at Rs 46,402 crore for Q4FY26, reflecting a 13.4% increase from Rs 40,925 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Sequentially, profit after tax rose 28% from Rs 6,654 crore reported in Q3FY26. Revenue was up 2% quarter-on-quarter compared to Rs 45,479 crore in the October-December quarter.For FY27, Infosys guided for revenue growth of 1.5% to 3.5% in constant currency, while maintaining an operating margin outlook of 20% to 22%.

Despite a decent Q4 show, Infosys ADRs witnessed a drop on Thursday, ending 4% lower.

This was followed by a 6% decline in Infosys shares to their day’s low of Rs 1,168 on the BSE on Friday.
