Months ahead of its expected debut, a fresh leak has revealed another key detail about Apple’s rumored foldable smartphone, widely believed to launch as the iPhone Ultra.
According to a tipster on Weibo, the foldable phone from Apple will feature a vapor chamber for improved thermal efficiency.

The tipster claims that Apple has achieved ‘impressive VC cooling performance’ on the iPhone Ultra. Apple’s first foldable is rumored to feature a thin chassis, especially when unfolded. Despite the space constraints due to a slim design, Apple appears to have successfully added a vapor chamber cooling system into the device.
In another post, the tipster claimed that the iPhone Ultra will use a liquid metal hinge. The leakster also suggests that the device remains on track for a September launch.
Notably, Apple first introduced vapor chamber cooling in the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.
