Last week, iQOO offered a glimpse at the redesigned rear camera module of its upcoming iQOO 16. The company later confirmed that the phone will use Samsung’s new M16 display panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. Now, iQOO has revealed the handset’s launch date and color options.
The iQOO 16 will launch in China on September 29 and will go on sale on the same day, the company confirmed in a post on Weibo.
Pre-orders for the handset are already live through iQOO’s online store in China.
In a separate post, iQOO also revealed the color options for the upcoming phone. The iQOO 16 will be available in Chasing Light, Legend, which features a silver gray finish, and Race Track, which comes in purple.
Aside from the display, iQOO has yet to reveal any specifications for the phone. However, recent leaks suggest that the iQOO 16 could pack an 8,400mAh battery and be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset.
iQOO is also expected to launch the Pad Ultra alongside the iQOO 16 on September 29.
