iQOO launched the Neo11 in China last October, and now it’s apparently working on a new variation of this device, that may end up being called the Neo11s or Neo11 SE. We’ll refer to it as the Neo11s for simplicity.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, this phone will be powered by an underclocked version of the Dimensity 9500 SoC. Despite this one having a CPU with cores clocked lower than the normal Dimensity 9500, the performance is allegedly going to still be “decent”. It will probably still beat the Dimensity 9500s, for what it’s worth.

We assume this means iQOO has a deal with MediaTek to use lower bin chips for some cost savings. Anyway, the Neo11s will allegedly sport a flat screen with 144Hz refresh rate and “2K” resolution, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and a battery capacity that starts with an 8, so it will be between 8,000 mAh and 8,999 mAh.
The phone will also come with both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It is apparently “aiming to challenge the performance of lower-priced phones”, delivering more than its price point would suggest. That’s certainly an intriguing prospect. The iQOO Neo11s is tentatively scheduled for release at some point this summer.
