‘Frozen’ star Kristen Bell is celebrating her daughter entering her teen years! On March 27, Bell’s daughter, Lincoln, turned 13. On the occasion, the 45-year-old shared a sweet video montage set to the tune of Amos Lee’s ‘Sweat Pea’ for her daughter, whom she shares with actor Dax Shepard. Sharing sweet candid family moments, Kristen Bell also reflected on her parenting journey.
Kristen Bell celebrates her daughter’s teenage milestone
Kristen Bell posted on Instagram, “13 years ago today, we had our first baby girl. Getting to know her wit, compassion, and sense of adventure has brought us a kind of joy we didn’t have a word for before we met her.” She wrote the caption alongside a montage, which included sweet childhood photos with Lincoln’s face obscured. Some video clips showed Lincoln and her younger sister, Delta, 11, dancing in birthday hats. The clips also featured her husband, Dax Shepard.
For Kristen Bell, parenting is the hardest yet best thing ever
The ‘Nobody Wants This’ star went on to describe her parenting journey as she thanked her daughter. She calls parenting “both the hardest and best thing I’ve ever done.” She wrote, “Thank you to all the role models we have had for our girls(I’m looking at you Mrs Browne!!!) and to the village who taught us how to be parents.” Bell added, “Getting to love this kid is the greatest job on earth. Happy 13th birthday baby girl.”
Dax Shepherd describes his daughter’s singing talent
Shepard, 51, opened up about Lincoln’s passion for theater during an appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore’ Show in September 2024. He admitted that hearing his older daughter sing will always make him cry.

Kristen Bell is also gearing up for several upcoming films, including ‘Violent Night 2’ (set for release in December 2026), where she plays Mrs. Claus, as well as ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 4,’ where she voices Amy Rose. She’s also expected to return as Anna in ‘Frozen 3.’
