Level 2 ADAS, New Engine & More

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is planning to launch the Glanza facelift next month, in October, 2026. Since it’s the re-badged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which recently received a midlife update, it’s obvious that the Glanza to get an update. Similar to the new Baleno, the upcoming 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift is expected to come with subtle cosmetic updates, several new features and a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine.

Revised Styling

The new Toyota Glanza is likely to receive a larger and newly-designed grille with three chrome strips running across its width. The signature Toyota badge could be repositioned onto the bonnet instead of being placed on the grille. While the headlamps, LED DRLs and turn indicators will remain unchanged, the new fog lamp assembly will give the front a refreshed look. The side and rear profiles are expected to remain largely unchanged.

ADAS & More

The biggest upgrade is likely to be the introduction of a Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite, features such as lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam assist and more.

The 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift could also be equipped with ventilated front seats and a wireless phone charger. It’s expected to retain the existing features such as a Head-Up Display (HUD), a large touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, six airbags and more.

New 3-Cylinder Engine

As mentioned above, the new Glanza is expected to feature a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine replacing the existing four-cylinder unit. This engine produces a maximum power of 81bhp and 112Nm of torque. Both manual and AMT gearboxes will continue to remain on offer. With the midlife update, the Toyota Glanza is also expected to receive a CNG version.

Minor Price Hike

The Glanza is currently the most affordable Toyota offering in India, with prices ranging from Rs 6.73 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted version is expected to witness a minimal price hike.
