Mahindra and Mahindra has introduced the XUV 7XO with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, making it India’s first vehicle to offer these technologies. The carmaker says that “mesmerizing colours, and sharp details of Dolby Vision combined with the transformative, spatial sound of Dolby Atmos will bring consumers closer than ever to their favourite entertainment in the car, to see more, hear more, and feel each moment more deeply.”

Consumers can enjoy their favourite music in Dolby Atmos through Gaana, alongside a growing catalogue of movies and TV shows in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos through Sony LIV, all integrated directly into the in-car entertainment system. Sony LIV offers instant access to its extensive library of movies, original series, live sports, and television content, making it the first OTT platform to be embedded at the system level in an Indian vehicle.

Engine Options & Prices
The newly-launched Mahindra XUV 7XO is available in 8 trims and 5 powertrain configurations, priced between Rs 13.66 lakh – Rs 24.92 lakh (ex-showroom). Engine options include a 203bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 185bhp, 2.2L diesel, paired with eighter a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox options. Higher diesel variants also available with a torque convertor automatic transmission along with an AWD (all-wheel drive) system.

The three-row SUV has also performed well in Global NCAP crash test, achieving a full 5-star safety rating. It scored 16.03 points out 17 for adult occupant protection and 41.66 points out of 49 points for child occupant protection.
