Maruti Fronx Prices Hiked Ahead of Facelift With New Engine & ADAS


Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of the Fronx compact crossover by up to Rs 7,500 for select variants. The Delta MT, Delta Plus MT, Delta AMT and Delta Plus AMT variants have witnessed a price hike of Rs 5,000, while the Delta CNG MT has become more expensive by Rs 7,500. The Sigma CNG MT variant has received a price increase of Rs 2,500. Prices of the remaining variants remain unchanged.

The 2026 Maruti Fronx lineup is now available in the price range of Rs 6.85 lakh – Rs 11.98 lakh (all, ex-showroom).

New Maruti Fronx Facelift – What to Expect?

The price hike comes ahead of the arrival of the new Maruti Fronx facelift, which is expected to launch in late 2026 or early 2027. With the midlife update, the compact crossover will receive comprehensive changes to its exterior and interior, along with new powertrain options.

New 3-Cylinder Engine?

According to reports, the facelifted version could be offered with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine, replacing the existing four-cylinder unit. This engine pushes out a maximum power of 81.8bhp and 112Nm of torque. It will also be available with a factory-fitted CNG kit, producing 67bhp and 101Nm of torque.

Mileage Figures

The new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.80kmpl with the manual and 24.77kmpl with AMT gearbox. The CNG version, which will initially be available only with a manual transmission, is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 33.61km/kg. The Fronx CNG will also be offered with an AMT gearbox option at a later stage.

ADAS & More

The biggest feature upgrade will be the introduction of the Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). It’s expected to offer features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention and warning, vehicle sway warning, advanced emergency braking, forward collision warning and high beam assist. The new Maruti Fronx facelift could also be equipped with ventilated front seats and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
