Maruti Suzuki Cars Sales

In August 2026, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) sold a total of 219,220 units, including domestic sales, exports and supplies to Toyota. In the domestic market, the carmaker retailed 180,078 units, compared to 1,31,278 units in the same month last year, registering a strong YoY growth. However, its monthly sales declined by 9.80% when compared to the 1,96,203 units of July 2026.

Maruti Suzuki supplied 5,298 units to other OEM and exported 33,844 units in August 2026. The company also surpassed the milestone of 1 million units in total sales within the first five months of FY 2026-27.

Mahindra Cars Sales

Mahindra & Mahindra sold 59,257 units in August 2026, compared to 39,399 units in the corresponding month last year. This translates into a 50% YoY growth. However, compared to the 60,048 units sold in July 2026, Mahindra witnessed a marginal 1.32% MoM sales decline. Interestingly, the homegrown automaker sold 59,257 SUVs last month against 19,858 units in August 2025.

Hyundai Cars Sales

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recorded total monthly sales (domestic + exports) of 65,796 units in August 2026, registering a YoY growth of 8.8%. The total sales comprised domestic sales of 54,396 units, up 23.6% YoY and exports of 11,400 units declined by 30.01% YoY.

JSW MG Cars Sales

JSW MG Motor India registered total sales of 7,508 units in August 2026 against 6,578 units in the same month previous year. The company’s sales increased by 930 units, reflecting a 14.14% YoY growth. However, sales declined by 650 units compared to July 2026, translating into 7.97% MoM decline.
