MG Majestor India Launch Confirmed For February 12, 2026


Nearly a year after its first appearance, the MG Majestor full-size SUV is set to arrive at showrooms on 12th February, 2026. The model was initially showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show, and has since bene spotted multiple times during road tests.

When launched, it will go head-to-head against the Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. While official prices will be announced in the coming days, the Majestor is expected to be priced between Rs 39.57 lakh – Rs 44.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

Muscular Design

Visually, the Majestor appears more rugged and sportier than the Gloster. Upfront, the SUV features a newly-designed grille with gloss-black elements, vertically stacked LED headlamps with LED DRLs and a redesigned bumper with black cladding and silver elements. The sheet metal on the bonet, fenders and doors remains similar to the Gloster.

The SUV comes with five-spoke 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels along with massive body cladding on wheel arches, black roof rails and door handles, black rear bumper with a faux silver skid plate, connected LED taillamps and exhaust tips on both sides.

Premium Features

Interior details are still under the wraps. However, the MG Majestor is expected to come packed with several premium features including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker sound system, three-zone automatic climate control, a three-spoke steering wheel, wireless phone charging, heated passenger seat, heated, cooled and massing driver’s seat with power adjust.

Additional features could be 360 degree cameras, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic parking brake with auto hold, Level 2 ADAS and many more.

Twin-Turbo Power

Powering the upcoming MG Majestor is likely to be the Gloster’s 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine, paired with an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. This setup produces a maximum power of 216bhp and 479Nm of torque. The SUV will also be offered with an AWD (all-wheel drive) system.
