The MG Majestor is finally ready to hit Indian market. The carmaker has confirmed that the full-sized body-on-frame SUV will go on sale with its official price announcement scheduled for April 27, 2026. Bookings are already underway, and deliveries are set to begin in May 2026. The Majestor SUV lineup will be available in four variants – Sharp 4X2 (7-seater), Savvy 4X2 (7-seater), Savvy 4X2 (6-seater) and Savvy 4X4 (7-seater).

Expected Price, Rivals & Benefits

With an estimated price range of Rs 40 lakh – Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom), the Majestor will face challenge from the Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and Toyota Fortuner. MG has also announced that the first 3,000 customers will avail exclusive benefits including a complementary 5-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, a 5-year labour-free service contract and 5 years of RSA (roadside assistance).

Twin-Turbo Power

The MG Majestor uses a 2.0L twin turbocharged diesel engine, tuned for producing power worth 215bhp and 478Nm of torque. Transmission duties are carried out by an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The SUV comes with both 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrain options. The AWD variants are equipped with ‘M-Hub’ terrain management system, offering multiple drive modes.

Colours, Dimensions & Seating Layout

The new MG SUV will be available in four monotone colour options – Metal Ash, Metal Black, Concrete Grey and Pearl White. Its overall length, width and height stand at 5,046mm, 2,016mm and 1,876mm respectively. The SUV sits on a 2,950mm long wheelbase.

The Majestor offers a boot space of 343-litres with the third-row up, which expands to 1,350-litres with the third-row down. The 6-seater version offers two independent captain seats for the second-row passengers, while the 7-seater model gets a conventional bench-type seating arrangement.
