Earlier this year, Milap Zaveri and Bhushan Kumar were all set to roll with their action-packed drama starring Tiger Shroff and Vidyut Jammwal. But as is often the case in showbiz, plans shifted course. Reports now indicate that the filmmaker and the T-Series head are turning their focus to a fresh project, one that brings Zaveri back together with ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ (2025) actor Harshvardhan Rane.
Milap Zaveri ropes in Anil Kapoor for a new film
According to Mid-day, Anil is in talks to play a pivotal role in the yet-untitled movie that is expected to roll out this month. The makers are in the final stage of discussion with Anil. Milap will direct the actor for the first time. Apparently, the actors had started training for the actioner.
Milap Zaveri faces creative differences and date issues
Reportedly, Zaveri chose to do Harshvardhan’s movie over the other as too many creative differences were creeping in. There was also a date clash as the makers wanted to begin the Harshvardhan movie in February, and no way would the Vidyut-Tiger film be complete by then.
Anil Kapoor in key projects
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Anil Kapoor is set to portray Colonel Vikrant Kaul in ‘Alpha’. He is also part of ‘King’, which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Arshad Warsi, and others. The release dates for both projects are yet to be revealed.
