The second-generation Kia Seltos is all set to make its India debut on December 10, 2025 at an event in Bengaluru. Aiming to build excitement around the product, Kia India has released multiple teasers revealing major design highlights. In the midsize SUV segment, the new 2026 Kia Seltos will continue to take on the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate and the newly-launched Tata Sierra.
With its official unveiling just a couple of days away, here’re the key details you should know.
Revised Design
The new Kia Seltos 2026 will feature a completely revised front fascia featuring newly-designed LED headlamps with updated DRL signatures, a more pronounced bumper, and a more sculpted bonnet. Compared to the current generation, the new version will carry a boxier and more upright stance. Other design highlights will include new alloy wheels and geometric taillamp assembly connected by a connected light bar.
Bigger & More Spacious
Dimensionally, the new Seltos will be longer and wider than the existing model, which is 4365mm long, 1800mm wide and 1645mm tall. This means, the 2026 version will offer a more commanding road presence along with a roomier cabin.
More Features

The latest spy images reveal that the new 2026 Kia Seltos GT Line variant will have a dual-tone Black and Beige cabin theme along with a new three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. Similar to the Syros, the new Seltos will offer a curved dual screen setup supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The SUV will also receive a newly-designed dashboard, updated gear selector, new HVAC control panel, slimmer AC vents, ambient lighting strips, a revised centre console, repositioned drive and traction modes and bigger storage compartments. The updated ADAS suite might also offer additional safety features.
Same Engines
The new 2026 Kia Seltos will continue to come with the existing engine lineup – a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbo petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine. However, the current 6-speed automatic gearbox paired with the diesel engine is expected to be replaced with a new 7-speed automatic unit.
