Design Highlights
The facelifted Brezza will feature a wider grille with a thicker chrome strip running across the centre. It will also get a tweaked bumper and a more pronounced silver skid plate. Minimal styling changes are also expected at the side and rear profile as well. Dimensionally, the new Maruti Brezza 2026 facelift is expected to remain unchanged.
Larger Screen & More
The interior is likely to receive noticeable feature upgrades including a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, borrowed from the Maruti Victoris. Features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, new seat upholstery and trims, a Head-Up Display (HUD), a wireless phone charger, an electric sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera might also be part of the package.
Turbo Power & New Gearbox
The biggest update is likely to be the introduction of the 1.0L, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, sourced from the Fronx. This turbo-petrol motor could be offered with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. With the smaller capacity engine, the new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will attract a lower GST rate of 18 percent.
The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, with 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox options are expected to continue. The new Maruti Brezza 2026 facelift might also receive an underbody CNG tank, similar to the setup seen on the Victoris.
Expected Price & Competition
While Maruti Suzuki has not yet announced an official launch date, the facelifted Brezza is expected to hit roads in a couple of months. Given the cosmetic changes, feature enhancements and mechanical upgrades, the new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift is expected to witness a minor price hike. In the subcompact SUV segment, it will continue to challenge Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
