New Honda Elevate Special Edition Coming Soon: What to Expect?


Honda Cars India has released a teaser image showing a silhouette similar to the Elevate midsize SUV. The official statement reads “Bold looks. Unstoppable spirit. Something exciting is about to drive your way soon.” While official details are yet to be revealed, the model is expected to be a special edition of the Honda Elevate. Its possibly to be named Elevate Bold Edition or Elevate Explorer Edition, as hinted in the teaser.

Expected changes

The teaser suggests that the new Honda Elevate special edition might receive a sporty red treatment inside and out. On the exterior, it might feature red accent on the front grille and bonnet and 17-inch alloys in red finish. Inside, the special edition is likely to offer dual-tone theme, possibly all-black or all-black with red highlights.

Cabin updates

The overall cabin layout and features are expected to remain unchanged. The Honda Elevate is already equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto dimming IRVM, 6-speaker audio system, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, lane-watch camera, G-metre display, a 7.0-inch TFT display, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, single-pane sunroof with pinch guard, Honda Sensing ADAS suite and more.

Engine specs

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate houses a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that also does duty in the City sedan. This gasoline unit generates a maximum power of 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. It comes with two gearbox options – 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic. Power is delivered to the front wheels via a FWD (front-wheel drive) system.

Honda Elevate Hybrid In 2026

The Japanese automaker is planning to introduce the Elevate hybrid in the second half of 2026. It’s likely to be offered with the City e:HEV’s 1.5L Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an electric motor. The hybrid version is expected to receive a few exclusive changes such as ‘Hybrid’ badging and software updates.
