The third-generation Hyundai Creta has been spied testing again, and this time, interior images revealing some interesting details. One of the biggest upgrades will be Hyundai’s Pleos Connect infotainment system, which was recently introduced in the new Grandeur luxury sedan. It marks the brand’s entry into SDV (software-defined vehicles) architecture.
Pleos Connect Explained
The carmaker states that Pleos Connect’s focuses on ‘intuitiveness and simplicity’ through a balanced combination of physical and touch controls. Compared to the Creta’s exiting dual screen setup, Pleos Connect features a larger central touchscreen that offers access to new built-in Gleo AI assistant and modular app.
The Gleo AI performs multiple in-car functions via voice commands, while the new app market allows for third-party creation and integration into Pleos Connect.

Pleos Connect also includes a slimmer driver’s display, showing key information such as presents speed, turn-by-turn direction and media. It supports a three-finger gesture for repositioning app windows and close unnecessary apps, along with OTA (over-the-air) updates.
Other Key Highlights
Previous spy images reveal that the new Hyundai Creta will offer Boss mode for rear seat passengers, allowing the front seat to slide forward for creating additional legroom. It will also offer dedicated rear vents and adjustable headrest for all three rear occupants. Higher trims could be exclusively offered with black leatherette upholstery and an enhanced ADAS suite.
Same Petrol & Diesel Engines
Mechanically, the new Hyundai Creta is likely to remain unchanged. The SUV lineup is expected to come with the 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 160bhp 1.5L turbo petrol and 116bhp, diesel engine options. Transmissions will also be carried forward from the current generation.
Strong Hybrid Powertrain
Media reports suggest that the 2027 Hyundai Creta might receive a strong hybrid powertrain based on the proven 1.5L petrol engine. The same hybrid powertrain is also expected to power the upcoming Hyundai 7-seater SUV – codenamed Ni1i.
