New Hyundai Exter 2026 Facelift – What’s New?

Starting with the interior, the new 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift offers a new dual-tone navy blue and grey cabin theme, replacing the old all-black layout. A new flat-bottomed steering wheel, dashboard with a new faux carbon-fiber like trim, and updated semi-fabric upholstery further enhance its premium appeal.

On the feature front, the new Exter offers adjustable rear headrests and height adjustable driver seat as standard. Additionally, the compact crossover gets Type-C USB for the rear passengers, a dedicated arm rest for driver’s seat, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via a portable adapter and new metal pedals.

On the outside, the front fascia has been revised with a newly-designed grille with a silver trim on the lower section, tweaked bumper in black finish and slightly repositioned ‘Exter’ badging. The wheel arches appear sportier than before, and it also gets newly-designed alloy wheels. Other design highlights include new C-pillar garnish, black finish rear bumper and a new split spoiler.

The new 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift also receives two new colour options – Titanium Black Matte and Golden Bronze.

Same Engines

The new Hyundai Exter comes with the same 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol engine, available with two gearbox options – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The motor produces a maximum power of 83bhp and 114Nm of torque. The CNG variant features a dual-cylinder CNG kit, placed under the boot floor. It offers a claimed power of 69bhp and 95Nm of torque.
