The all-new Renault Duster is finally here. The midsize SUV has made its India debut in its third-generation avatar, ahead of its official launch in the coming months. Bookings have commenced today. New Renault Duster 2026 – Modern Design
Based on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP) platform, the India-spec Duster appears largely similar to the global-spec version, albeit with a few market-specific changes. Upfront, the SUV features the signature grille with Renault’s new logo in the centre, LED headlamps, slim LED DRLs with Y-shaped signature, and a sporty bumper.
The bold side creases, massive body cladding, large alloy wheels and functional roof rails enhance its rugged appearance. The new Duster sports C-shaped LED taillamps with Y-shaped elements, a hefty bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler at the rear.
New Renault Duster 2026 – Premium Interior & Features
Interior of the 2026 Renault Duster is significantly more upmarket than its predecessor. The material quality, fit and finish have been classed up. The dashboard and door pads now feature soft-touch materials, giving it a premium feel.
The SUV offers leatherette seat upholstery along with features such as a dual screen setup (a touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital driver’s display), a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, multiple airbags and Level 2 ADAS (autonomous driver assistance system) suite.
New Renault Duster 2026 – Petrol Engines
The carmaker has confirmed that the 2026 Renault Duster will be available with two turbocharged petrol engines including a new Turbo TCe 160 engine. This motor pushes out a maximum power of 163PS and 280Nm of peak power and max torque, paired with a 6-speed DCT with wet clutch and e-shifter. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be available across the lineup.
New Renault Duster 2026 – Competition & Expected Prices
In the highly competitive midsize SUV segment, the 2026 Renault Duster will take directly on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder. Prices of the all-new Duster are expected to start from Rs 10-11 lakh for the base variant, and go up to Rs 18 lakh for the top-end variant (ex-showroom).
