Pre-bookings for the all-new Renault Duster are already underway ahead of its official launch in March, 2026. Deliveries of the SUV are slated to begin in April. The SUV lineup will be offered with three engine options – a 1.0L turbo petrol, a 1.3L turbo petrol and a 1.8L petrol-hybrid.

The base variant with the smaller capacity petrol engine is expected to be priced at around Rs 10 lakh, while the top-end variant might cost nearly Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it will take directly against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Toyota Hyryder and other midsize SUVs in the segment.
Major Highlights
The 2026 Renault Duster misses out on an AWD (all-wheel drive) system, which had been the SUV’s signature trait ever since its introduction in India. However, attributes such as 26.9-degree approach angle, a 34.7-degree departure angle, a 212mm ground clearance and 18-inch black alloy wheels will enhance its overall performance. Similar to the predecessor, the new Duster has functional black roof rails, which now offer a 50kg load-bearing capacity.
Interior

Comprehensive changes have been made inside and out. The new Renault Duster features a newly-designed dashboard with an integrated dual screen setup, comprising of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
While the dashboard uses soft-touch materials, contrast green stitching and silver trims add more to its premium appeal. Unlike many new-age cars, the new Duster ditches excessive touch-based controls and continues to offer physical controls.
