While Google has already given its two newest flagship smartphone series support for AirDrop, and Samsung is slowly following suit, Nothing is releasing its own system for easily transferring files between Android devices and computers running macOS, Windows, or Linux.
It’s called Nothing Warp and it’s available as a free download for your Android phone from the Play Store. On the computer side, you need to install the Warp extension for Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. You can find this extension in the Chrome Web Store.
On your Android device, Warp integrates into the Android share menu. Once you’ve connected to Warp with the same Google account on both your Android device and your computer, “everything becomes effortless”, Nothing says.
You can seamlessly send files, links, copied text, and images between your devices in both directions. Your files are being transferred through your own Google Drive, so Warp does not store or access your data.
