We were expecting the OnePlus 15 to at some point join the Quick Share – AirDrop party, and today this has happened. If you have the latest software and the latest version of Quick Share on your OnePlus 15, you should be able to send stuff to Apple devices and receive stuff from them just like you can from any other Android device through Quick Share, which connects to Apple’s AirDrop seamlessly.

However, note that the rollout might be one of those staged affairs, which means not every OnePlus 15 handset out there in the wild will have this right away. But it is definitely coming, since people are starting to report it working for them.
The bad news is that the OnePlus 15 is expected to be the only OnePlus device to get this functionality, which obviously doesn’t make any sense (except to think that the brand desperately wants to drive people to buy its most expensive phone). Hopefully this will change in the future and support for AirDrop will come to all currently supported OnePlus devices, but we can’t be sure. Anyway, we’ll let you know if we find out more.
