Peddi remains difficult to dismiss. Perhaps because its ambition feels genuine. Perhaps because Ram Charan’s commitment is absolute. Or perhaps because the central idea itself is so unusual for a star-driven commercial entertainer. The logic has gaps you could drive a train through, which, given the subject matter, feels oddly appropriate. But the emotions arrive on time. And in Peddi, that is the journey that matters most.

Overall, Peddi is a social message wrapped in commercial elements. It is elevated by Ram Charan’s career-best performance, a highly emotional climax, and a stirring musical treat. Though there are a few logical flaws and pacing issues, Ram Charan’s hard work and dedication earn immense respect and make the audience overlook most of the film’s shortcomings. The final 30 minutes are deeply emotional and leave a lasting impact, adding great value to the film. Ram Charan deserves all the accolades for his truly award-worthy performance.

Overall, Peddi, has a few minor flaws but Ramcharan’s finest performance, first rate out from the music direction and cinematography, an inspiring story and honest narration in the second half, made the film a good watch. Especially, there are quite a few sequences in the second half, which have immense repeat value and are sure to be liked by all sections of the audience.

It also works well as a sports film because the portions involving cricket, kushti and sprinting have a bigger stake than just winning a game. All this while AR Rahman’s stellar music plays in the background. Where the film falters is when it relies on scenes that add nothing to the story beyond the same old masala. Nonetheless, the film is a win for both Buchi and Ram.

Buchi Babu delivers a story packed with heart, while Ram Charan gives one of his most emotionally powerful performances. There are scenes in the film that genuinely move you to tears. First half is average, second half is good. Go and Watch in Theaters.Peddi certainly has the potential at the Box-office. How far it ultimately goes will be determined by the box office numbers in the coming weeks
