The Redmi K90 Max is going to be fully unveiled later this month, and today the brand has officially confirmed the exact date of the big event: April 21. Redmi has also revealed the device’s main specs. As a recent Geekbench run already revealed, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC.
The K90 Max has a screen with a 165Hz refresh rate which supports DC dimming, and an 8,550 mAh Silicon Carbon battery with ultra-high 16% silicon content. It supports 100W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
The brand has previously revealed that the K90 Max has the biggest fan ever put inside a smartphone, and that size allows it to bring the internal temperature down by 10 degrees Celsius in 100 seconds. Despite the presence of the fan, the device has IP66/68/69 ratings for dust and water resistance. According to leaks, the K90 Max comes with a 6.83-inch display with 1.5K resolution.
