Last week, Samsung announced that the Galaxy M47 5G would soon launch in India. The company has now revealed several key specifications of the smartphone while also confirming its official launch date.
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be unveiled in India on June 29. It is confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.

It will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, the Galaxy M47 5G will ship with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung has promised six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
While Samsung has yet to reveal the chipset, a recent Geekbench listing suggests the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC.

Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy M47 5G will pack a large battery with support for 45W fast charging and bypass charging.
For photography, the device will feature a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will house a 12MP camera inside a hole-punch cutout.

The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be available in Blaze Blue and Rogue Red color options.
