The new Renault Duster is all set to hit Indian roads in March, 2026. Interested buyers can pre-book the SUV by paying a sum of Rs 21,000, while deliveries for the turbo-petrol variant are scheduled to begin in April.

Compared to its predecessor, the new-gen Duster appears significantly more modern and rugged, while offering a more premium and feature-packed interior. Furthermore, the SUV now comes with more powerful turbocharged petrol engines along with a strong hybrid powertrain, which is slated to join the lineup by Diwali 2026.

Starting with the interior, Renault has packed the all-new Duster with several segment-first and best features including an approach angle of 26.9°, a departure angle of 34.7° and a multimedia viewing angle of 17.9°. It offers a driver eye-to-multimedia distance of 502mm. The new Renault Duster promises a segment-leading boot space of 700-litres (till the roof) and 518-litres under the parcel shelf. Additionally, it has an interior storage capacity of 32.6-litres.
The Duster becomes the first SUV in its category to offer the openR link multimedia system with Google built-in along with the multi-sense drive modes with 48 colour ambient lighting customization. Other highlights include the claimed vehicle dynamics, 50+ accessory categories and YouClip accessory system. The SUV also comes with a maximum warranty of 7-year or 150K km under Renault Forever program.
The new Renault Duster offers the most powerful turbocharged 1.3L TCe petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 163bhp and 280Nm of torque. This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
One of biggest highlights of the 2026 Duster is the all-new 1.8L, 4-cylinder petrol-hybrid powertrain, comprising a 49bhp electric motor, a 20bhp hybrid starter generator (HSG) and a 1.4kWh battery pack. It’s the most powerful strong hybrid powertrain in its segment. The SUV lineup will also be available with a 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, making it the least powerful engine option in the segment.
