The all-new Tata Sierra has created significant buzz among buyers. Available at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), the SUV comes in seven trims – Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Booking window will open on December 16, while deliveries are scheduled to start on January 15, 2026. As of now, the carmaker has revealed only the price of the base variant, with the full price list set to be announced in early weeks of December.
According to a media report, Tata Motors is evaluating a three-row version of the Sierra to challenge SUVs such as the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and the upcoming Maruti premium 7-seater SUV, Renault Boreal and Nissan’s version of the Boreal. It’s important to note that there is no official word on the same.

Tata Sierra 7-Seater Is a Possibility?
The Sierra has been designed on an all-new ARGOS (All-Terrain Ready, Omni-Energy and Geometry Scalable) platform that supports multiple powertrains, drivetrains and body styles. This monocoque architecture offers high structural rigidity and features an ethernet-based electrical architecture called TiDAL 2.0 for advanced connectivity. It also offers strong approach and departure angles, multiple terrain modes and a water wading capacity of 450mm.
The ARGOS architecture opens up possibilities for the Tata Sierra 7-seater and Sierra AWD (all-wheel drive) versions. If media reports are to be believed, the AWD-equipped Sierra will arrive sometime in 2027, with both ICE and electric powertrain options. Tata might also consider introducing CNG or hybrid variants in the future.
