The new 12.2-inch Asus Pad is on its way to India, here’s when it lands


Last month, Asus re-entered the Android tablet market by unveiling the 12.2-inch Asus Pad. Today, the company has confirmed that the device is headed to India, where it will launch on August 6 at 12:00 noon local time. Unfortunately, the price hasn’t been revealed yet.

The Asus Pad’s screen uses OLED technology and has a resolution of 2800×1840, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 2,000-nit peak brightness. The tablet has four speakers which support Dolby Atmos 360, and it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage.

On the rear there’s a 13MP camera with an LED flash, while on the front sits a 5MP camera. The tablet has a 9,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The Asus Pad measures 271.1 x 182.4 x 6.5 mm and weighs 523g. The device will come with a case included in the box. It runs Android 16 and will be offered in Pure White only.
