vivo recently began teasing the T5x 5G in India and has now confirmed the phone’s launch date along with a few key specifications. The phone is set to succeed the vivo T4x, which debuted in March last year.
The vivo T5x 5G will be unveiled in India on March 17 and will be available for purchase via the official vivo India website, offline stores, and Flipkart.
In a teaser video posted on X, vivo revealed that the T5x 5G will be priced under INR 23,000 ($250) in the country. The handset will also pack a 7,200mAh battery, which vivo claims is the biggest in the segment.

The upcoming vivo smartphone will also offer IP68 and IP69+ dust and water resistance ratings. As per the teaser images, the T5x 5G will be available in green and white color options. It will come with a dual-rear camera setup and run OriginOS. The phone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 7400 Turbo SoC.
