vivo X300 Ultra Photography Edition Kit shown off on video, has tons of camera gear

At a time when smartphones ship with the bare minimum of essentials, vivo posts a video showing off the vivo X300 Ultra retail package and the photographer’s kit, which look absolutely lavish with an impressive number of accessories.

People who buy the Photography Edition Kit will get a box within a box. Starting with the regular X300 Ultra box, it contains not only a 100W charger, but also a nice case.

The Kit’s box has that plus a whole drawer full of camera gear. There is another case, which serves as the mounting point for all the other accessories. Like the camera grip with hardware controls, for example.

Then there are three rings that screw around the camera. One is a simple protective ring that adds a ledge around the glass camera island. The other ring is the mounting plate for the two add-on lenses and there’s one more (which we’ll cover in a second).

The Kit contains two G2 Ultra teleconverter lenses, one that extends the focal length to 200mm and one to 400mm. We did a quick hands-on with them at the MWC. Additionally, there are two tripod mounts (one that fits each lens) – a stable base matters at these focal lengths!

The third ring that we mentioned above has a thread that lets you screw on a 67mm Neutral Density (ND) filter that will help you dial in just the right exposure. That is a lot of gear to carry, so vivo even included a cross-body strap.

We’ve embedded several teaser videos below, but if you want to see more, you can check out this post from yesterday.

It’s not just the vivo X300 Ultra, the company will also launch the X300s on March 30 (Monday). You can find a leak with detailed specs for the X300s here and more on both phones here.
