Poco is making the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra official today through an online event, that is scheduled to start at 8 PM Beijing Time, which is 1 PM in London, 2 PM in Central Europe, 3 PM in Eastern Europe, and 5:30 PM in India. The livestream is embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
The Poco F9 Pro is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro, and the Poco F9 Ultra a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro Max. The only differences between them will be the Pocos’ smaller batteries, if recent rumors and leaks are to be believed.
The F9 Pro will allegedly have a 6,330 mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra will have an 8,050 mAh cell. The former is rumored to cost €799, the latter €999.
The Redmi K100 Pro has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 1156×2510 resolution, 185Hz refresh rate, and 4,500-nit peak brightness, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie camera.
The Redmi K100 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with 1200×2608 resolution, 185Hz refresh rate, and 4,500-nit peak brightness, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie camera.
