This week, Amazon UK is offering vouchers to reduce the prices of the 512GB variants of the three Galaxy S26 phones.

But first, here’s an interesting situation – the Google Pixel 10 costs the same as the Galaxy S25. Look closely, though – this is for a 256GB Pixel and only a 128GB Galaxy. Of course, the Galaxy S25 is last year’s model and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. That still handily beats Google’s Tensor G5, though.

Galaxy S25’s replacement, the Galaxy S26, uses an Exynos 2600. Speaking of, the S26 has a massive discount of £270 in total, which is a mix of a £170 price cut and a £100 voucher. As noted above, this is for a 12/512GB unit, which makes the old S25 a tough sell, even if you really prefer Snapdragon over Exynos.

For £70 more you get double the storage, a newer chipset, a marginally bigger screen and a noticeably bigger battery – 4,300mAh vs. 4,000mAh. In terms of Active Use Score, you’re looking at 15:20h vs. 13:09h. Most other things are the same, including the cameras and the charging situation (25W wired, 15W wireless, no magnets – not in the phone, anyway).

Then there’s the Samsung Galaxy S26+ – this one only has a £100 voucher. Even then, it costs double what an S25 FE costs.

Yes, this is for a 512GB S26+ versus a 256GB Galaxy S25 FE. Worse, the FE has an older chipset (Exynos 2400 vs. 2600) and a lower resolution 6.7” display (1080p+ vs. 1440p+, both LTPO). But are the S26+ upgrades really worth double the money?

There’s also the OnePlus 15R to consider, which costs the same as the S25 FE. It uses this year’s second from the top Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and it has a 6.83” 1272p+ display. The battery is massive at 7,400mAh – the 21:36h Active Use Score beats the S26+ (16:25h) and crushes the S25 FE (which managed a lowly 11:57h). Charging is wired only at 80W.

The biggest downside of the 15R is that there is no telephoto camera – not even a basic one like the 8MP 3x or 10MP 3x of the S25 FE and S26+, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra also has a £100 voucher. This one features the unique Privacy Display and a proper set of cameras – even if they are basically the same as the S25 Ultra cameras. Check out our S25 Ultra vs. S26 Ultra article for the important differences.

Speaking of which, the Pixel 10 Pro XL has some solid discounts and it comes in at £300 or so less than the Galaxy S26 Ultra (looking at 512GB storage). The S26 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 even in Europe, which leaves Google’s Tensor G5 in the dust.

However, the OnePlus 15 also uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and it is much cheaper than both – a 512GB model is £250 less than the Pixel and a hefty £580 less than the Galaxy. Without Hasselblad to back it up, the triple 50MP camera isn’t as good as it could have been. In fact, we liked the OnePlus 13 cameras better. Still, the 7,300mAh battery achieved an amazing 23:07 Active Use Score and it supports both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Let’s wrap up with the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, which launched this week. Amazon is offering a £50 discount at checkout and is including a free pair of Galaxy Buds3 FE. The buds are nice and all, but have another look at the Galaxy S25 FE and OnePlus 15R pricing before committing to an A57 or A37.
