The 2026 Toyota Hyryder facelift is likely to receive minimal changes inside and out. However, its powertrain setup will remain unchanged. The SUV will continue to be offered with Toyota’s 1.5L TNGA Atkinson cycle strong hybrid and 1.5L K15C mild hybrid petrol engine options.

7-Seater Toyota Hyryder

The 7-seater Toyota Hyryder is currently doing test rounds in India, and caught on camera multiple times. Compared to its 5-seater sibling, it’s expected to be longer and offer more cabin space, accommodating an additional row of seats. Under the hood, it’s likely to feature the same 1.5L strong hybrid and petrol engines, powering its 5-seater counterpart.

New-Gen Toyota Fortuner

The next-generation Toyota Fortuner will make its global debut in late 2026, followed by its India launch (possibly in late 2026 or early 2027). The SUV’s all-new model will borrow several design elements and features from the latest Hilux. In India, it will likely to retain the existing engine options – i.e. 2.7L petrol and 2.8L diesel. The diesel engine will also be available with Toyota’s 48V mild hybrid system in Fortuner Neo Drive.
