Honor Pad 20 Pro announced with SD 8s Gen 4 and 10,100 mAh battery


The Honor Pad 20 made its debut back in May, and it is now getting a Pro counterpart with bumped-up specs. Honor Pad 20 Pro brings a more capable Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset alongside a 10,100mAh battery and a 12.1-inch IPS LCD. The panel offers 3K resolution (3,000 x 1,872px) with a 165Hz refresh rate and supports stylus input via the optional Honor Magic-Pencil 4s.

Honor is also offering a Paperlike Edition of the Pad 20 Pro, which brings an anti-glare display for a more intuitive drawing and note-taking experience. Both versions of the Pad 20 Pro feature up to 700 nits peak brightness as well as eye-care features and global DC dimming. Honor also added a six-speaker setup with DTS Ultra tuning.

In terms of connectivity, Pad 20 Pro supports dual-band Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, but there’s no cellular connectivity option. You get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which is not expandable.

The tablet runs MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16, complete with Honor’s AI suite and a dedicated PC Mode, which brings a desktop mode with resizable windows. The tablet also packs a 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. The 10,100mAh battery supports 66W wired charging and is rated for up to 12 hours of continuous video playback.

Honor Magic Pad 20 Pro comes in a single grey color, and Honor has not revealed pricing details just yet. The device is expected to make its official debut in Malaysia on August 24.
