Referred to as ‘mini Duster’, the Bridger has been designed on the new RGMP platform that supports multiple powertrains including petrol, hybrid, CNG and full electric.

Renault Bridger Design Highlights
The Bridger carries an upright and boxy stance with ‘Renault’ lettering on the front grille, unique LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a Duster-like bonnet, front bumper with a larger air dam and a dark skid plate. The side profile looks unlike to any Renault cars available in India. It features bold shoulder creasers, steeply raked A-pillar, functional roof rails and squared-off wheel arches.
At the back, the new Renault compact SUV sports a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, differently designed LED taillamps and ‘Bridger’ badge. It also gets a rear bumper with a registration plate along with a skid plate.

Renault Bridger Engines (Expected)
The interior details and engine specifications of the Bridger are still under the wraps. However, Renault has confirmed that it will not “compromise on space”.
Reports suggest that the subcompact SUV could be offered in India with a new 1.2L naturally aspirated and 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine options. An electric version might join the lineup at a later stage. It could be available with two battery pack options – 35kWh and 55kWh.

Renault Bridger Rivals In India
The Bridger will be positioned as a lifestyle subcompact SUV, which will take on the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Thar 3-door. With expected price range of around 10-20 lakh, it could become the most affordable lifestyle SUV in the country.
