If you’re planning to buy the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, this is the best time as the midsize SUV is on discounts for the very first time. The lineup is currently available in six trims, priced from Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In February, buyers can avail a total benefit of Rs 50,000 on the Maruti Victoris LXi and VXi petrol and CNG variants. These benefits include a consumer offer of Rs 30,000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000.

The higher ZXi and ZXi+ trims, available with both petrol and CNG powertrain options, are being offered with discounts of up to Rs 61,000. This consists of a consumer offer Rs 41,000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000. Opting for the strong hybrid version will fetch the highest benefit of up to 78,000. The benefits include a consumer offer of Rs 48,000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 30,000.

It’s important to note that the aforementioned discounts and benefits are available for a limited time period, and are subject to stock availability.

Discounts On Grand Vitara Sigma Variant

Interestingly, the Maruti Victoris’ premium Nexa exclusive counterpart, the Grand Vitara, is also available on benefits of up to Rs 25,000, for the entry-level Sigma variant. It includes a consumer offer of Rs 25,000 along with a scrappage benefit of up to Rs 35,000. However, Maruti Suzuki hasn’t confirmed any discount offers for the higher trims of the Grand Vitara.

Engine Options

The Maruti Victoris shares its engine line-up with the Maruti Grand Vitara. The midsize SUV is available with three engines: a 103hp 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol, a 116hp 1.5-litre strong hybrid and an 89hp 1.5-litre petrol-CNG.

The CNG version features an underbody CNG tank, which helps free up boot space. It comes with a 5-speed manual. The mild hybrid petrol variants can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox, while the strong hybrid version is available with an e-CVT gearbox.
