Hyundai Creta, India’s one of the top-selling cars, is all set to witness a generational shift in 2027. In fact, the SUV’s third-generation model has entered the testing phase and has been spotted testing multiple times overseas. Spy images suggest that the new Hyundai Creta 2027 will receive radical design changes and grow in terms of dimensions. Although the spotted test mule was heavily camouflaged, its silhouette appears boxier and more angular than the current generation.
Similar to the new Kia Seltos, the upcoming 2027 Hyundai Creta could also be longer, wider and more spacious. The expanded proportions are expected to enhance its road presence. The prototype was also seen with 19-inch newly-designed alloy wheels similar to those offered on higher trims of the new Seltos.

Several New Features
The leaked spy images reveal that the all-new Creta will offer a Boss mode for the rear seat occupant. This function enables rear passenger to slide the front seat forward, creating additional legroom. Furthermore, the SUV will come with adjustable headrests for all three rear occupants along with the rear AC vents. Black leatherette upholstery could be reserved for the higher trims.
While official details are still under the wraps, the new Hyundai Creta 2027 is likely to come with an updated and larger dual screen setup, an enhanced ADAS suite with more safety features, new connected car technology, front and rear dashcams, side parking sensors and a 10-way powered driver seat.
Hybrid, Petrol & Diesel Options
The 2027 Hyundai Creta is expected to retain the existing 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 160bhp 1.5L turbo petrol and 116bhp, diesel engine options. According to media reports, the SUV will receive a strong hybrid powertrain with the generational upgrade. Hyundai is likely to electrify its 1.5L petrol engine, which will also power the upcoming Hyundai Ni1i three-row SUV in 2027. Transmission options might also remain unchanged.
