The all-new Nissan Tekton midsize SUV will make its official debut on 4th February, 2026. While the exact launch date is yet to be revealed, the model is likely to go on sale by June 2026. The Tekton will be based on the third-generation Renault Duster, which is scheduled to be unveiled on January 26, 2026.

The new Nissan SUV will be positioned against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Hyryder and Honda Elevate.

Design Details
The new Nissan SUV derives its design inspiration from the brand’s globally popular flagship SUV – the Nissan Patrol. Upfront, it will feature a larger grille with C-shaped design elements and character lines and connected LED headlamps.
Other design highlights will include multi-spoke alloy wheels, pull-type door handles at the front, C-pillar mounted rear door handles, silver-finished roof rails, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, connected LED taillamps and sporty black rear bumper with silver finish.

Expected Features
Interior details remain limited for now. However, an official teaser confirms that the new Nissan Tekton will feature a three-tone dashboard with glossy black finish and contrasting copper-coloured strip running from the central touchscreen infotainment system to the side AC vents.
In terms of features, the new Nissan SUV is expected to offer a 7-inch digital driver’s display, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, an Arkamys 3D sound system, a sunroof, automatic climate control and more.
Expected Petrol Engines
While official engine specifications are yet to be revealed, the upcoming Nissan Tekton is expected to be offered with 1.3L turbo petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol engine options. Transmission choices will include both manual and automatic unit. Similar to the new Duster, the Tekton might also receive a hybrid version at a later stage.
