nubia has announced that it will unveil what it claims is the world’s first AI agent smartphone in the coming weeks. The upcoming handset is said to be a successor to the company’s M153 with Doubao AI system and feature a system-level AI agent.
In a post on its official Weibo account, nubia confirmed that the AI agent smartphone will make its debut at the upcoming World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), which is scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China, from July 17 to July 20.

While nubia has yet to reveal any details about the upcoming handset, a tipster claims it could be the successor to the nubia M153 AI smartphone, which was unveiled in China earlier this year. The M153 debuted with the Doubao AI assistant by ByteDance.
According to the tipster, the upcoming nubia smartphone will feature “deep system-level AI integration” and support “autonomous cross-platform operation.”

The nubia M153 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is equipped with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
More details about nubia’s AI agent smartphone, including its specs and availability, will be revealed at WAIC 2026.
